I'd also advise against plastic glasses/cups and adding ice first.  Always add the ice (slowly) after you pour the drink.

I was amazed at how quickly we were able to get out of Olympia and into more rural areas, it was quite a nice treat.

I opted for for the 65 mile route, as I was feeling iffy about my fitness levels and Rob, my riding companion was sure he wasn't up to it.After driving around a bit more than necessary to find parking (ended up by Ooba Tooba), we were off. The forecast was for 77 and sunny and the weather didn't disappoint. Not setting any records to be sure, but several mph faster than I could manage last summer. Of course, I was on the Salsa which helps a lot, but still.Post STP, I plan to do quite a bit more hill climbing. The Salsa Casseroll came in at 27 lbs with a Tubus rack and a pump. The Lightning Phantom was a whopping 39! That was with a rack, tail trunk and seat bag. I averaged a paltry 13.6 mph, but really spend most of my time over 14.  The hills just killed my average speed. In reality, we had several bursts up to 20, but good communication. I went down the Burke Gilman, and met up with 2 other Bent riders near Gasworks. We arrived about two hours ago and have already had a few surprises.  First, she is hooked up to monitors, and will be until the delivery is over - apparently this is standard for induction.
